Drive around from the comfort of your car and let the audio play automatically as you pass points of interest or walk around the White House Promenade and hear the history and stories rarely found. The app includes the following: 1. Historical overview of Washington D.C. 2. Capitol Hill/Pennsylvania Avenue Driving Tour 3. National Monuments/Memorials Driving Tour 4. Historical overview of White House Promenade Click on your tour of choice and once you are at that location, the audio will automatically play to give you an immersive experience at each point of interest to describe what you are seeing and explain its history. The GPS enabled pins on the map allow you to get directions to each point of interest. Play the videos in the app to see more images and descriptions of each historic place. App Instructions: If you would like to enjoy the GPS triggered audio feature, make sure to press 'Allow' when the app asks to track your location so that the GPS triggered audio feature will work. I have bought several tour apps for major cities from iTunes that work perfectly and really give you and your family a great experience. This app looked like it would do the same however it turned into me being lost and miserable in our nations capital. The app promises to navigate you to your destination and will indeed connect to Apple maps but you have to manually flip the top for it to update and no sound from the navigation at all. I refreshed the app several times but no new result and I ended up navigating outside of the app. The app has a good appearance and when it connects to the YouTube videos you prepare yourself for a great experience that soon turns into a nightmare. I was driving around lost with my family attempting the National Mall tour and luckily I tested it at night so traffic wasn’t brutal. The app needs an overhaul because it feels like coding just wasn’t completed with the map function prior to release. Not worth the money however it is the only thing on the store of this nature for DC. At least it gives you info about the monuments though. Buyer beware.
