Changed platforms with no warning

This game was awesome, all were boring by comparison. Then after spending $50 for the best ship poof the game won’t open. Tried everything even contacting the developers by phone no responses. Then low and behold the game reappears as Manticore Galaxy on Fire on Apple TV costs $15. Took our money then ran, I see a class action law suit in your future!

Do not download - Stickers, not a game

I don’t know what happened to this amazing game from years ago but now it is literally just stickers that you download and cannot get off your phone. The only way to remove them is to go to settings > general > storage > and then scroll down to the application to delete the stickers off your phone. It will not show up as an app on your Home Screen or in the App Library. It is not even a game anymore. Ignore this, and go download Galaxy on fire 2, which is still a great game.

Was a ok, then server died

I was playing, and got to a certain part in story, then I reach where the development team, the game had not finished, so I kept getting back on to see if they had finished the story and now server doesn’t work.

It’s the best for what it is

I’ll be the first person to say that even ten years later, Galaxy on Fire 2 is still the best space game on mobile, period. It hasn’t gotten old and has plenty of re-play value. So you’d understand my excitement when I first saw GoF 3. But then I downloaded it. What needs to be understood is that this game is not, in any way, shape, or form, a continuation of the story from the original GoF games. Those featured Keith T. Maxwell, hero captain and huge flirt. But sadly, his story ended at the end of GoF 2. Manticore picks up untold years later. Keith is still alive but only a minor bit player as an unseen NPC who needs to be rescued. There is no story to speak of. You’re an unnamed mercenary pilot who threw his lot in with another bunch of mercenaries aboard the ship Manticore. Something called “the Shattering” has “exploded” a huge chunk of the Galaxy and you’re tasked to figure out who stole the “glow” and made that happen. At its bare bones, it’s a spaceship dogfighting game. Everything is streamlined to create a smooth, seamless experience. You’re dumbed down to a few buttons, but the combat itself is fast, fun, and pretty to watch. If you’re looking for a continuation of the story from GoF 2, you •will• be disappointed. It’s not open space, free roam. You go on missions, you fly, you shoot, you come home. Rinse and repeat. Some people will find that boring, but I absolutely love space dogfighting games. This is, hands down, the best space dogfighting game there is on mobile. There is none better, and if you find one, please let me know! In the end, throw out what you assume this game should be and accept it as what it is: the best space dog fighter currently available. If that’s what you’re wanting, you will not be disappointed. Word of advice: don’t buy the in game purchase that allows you to go straight for the main bad guys. It completes 90% of the game for you without pushing any buttons, and all that’s left are boss fights. Stick to it and don’t make any in app purchases or you’ll lose almost all of the fun.

Could be great ... but not.

First of all I love fish labs stuff great graphics fun games all around. The new build just lacks in so many areas. Story is pretty lame forced upgrades and missions are all the same with very little deviation. If you rescue the ship 40 times well then you can get the ship or weapons upgrade you need to go fight the next level bad guy just not engaging. You don't even have a true gauge of your own ships present shape other than a lame warning beep. Lots of times even when you finish missions it will crash or kill you for no reason to force you to use revives etc. I was really excited about this game but after about 20 hours of playing I think I'll just play the first game over again.
