Scam, Stay Away
So check this out. Earlier in the day, I received a very strange text message with a very weird link, saying that I have to go to it and agree to terms and conditions but not specifying for what, so I ignored it. Later on, on the same day, I decided to look for an app where I can add stickers to a picture such as halos and devil horns to a photo, so I found this one for $.99. I thought “what the heck, I’ll get it.” After it “downloaded” it, I touched on “open” app, and guess what happened? My phone took me straight to that weird text I received earlier saying I had to click “agree” to terms and conditions, so I got curious and clicked on the link. It was a fake looking “Facebook” login screen asking me to put in my username and password to open FB and “agree” to their terms. I don’t know how the two tied in together, but this app is a friggin scam. It did not even download on my phone. Stay away!
