Essential tools for ten pin bowlers and coaches including: 1. Angles & Targeting 2. Axis Tilt & Rotation 3. Bowling Ball Speed & RPM 4. Observation Trainer 5. Pattern Library 6. Bowling Ball Arsenal 7. Notes 8. Score Calculator 9. Spare Names --- 1. Angles & Targeting Plan & visualize a shot from the start of your approach to your target, helping you become more accurate and consistent. Add overlays, such as entry angle, focal point, distance markers, and save favorite shots. Video mode can apply all the above to previously recorded videos, or use camera more when practicing, with up to 30sec delay, for continuous action replay of every shot. --- 2. Axis Tilt & Rotation Take a photo or video of your bowling ball with a PAP (Positive Axis Point) marker and position it in the guide for your approximate axis tilt and rotation. Great for working on control & consistency. --- 3. Bowling Ball Speed & RPM In simple mode use the start/stop button to calculate bowling ball speed in real time. Advanced mode can load in a video for more accuracy, and rev-rate calculation. --- 4. Bowling Observation Trainer When we let go of the ball, many of us immediately look up to see the end result at the pins. We don't see the journey the bowling ball takes to, and through, the pins, so don’t see differences between pocket hits that do and don’t carry. Practice ANYWHERE with the Observation Trainer and learn to focus on four key points of every shot that give you the info you need to make better decisions and start striking more. --- 5. Pattern Library Instant access to details & diagrams of hundreds of bowling lane oil patterns, or enter your own custom patterns. Load any pattern into Angles & Targeting to plot your shot directly over it and plan how you'll attack the lanes. --- 6. Bowling Ball Arsenal Searchable library of over 1,500 bowling balls and a way to manage your own arsenal. Organise bowling balls into separate bags and keep track of information such as surface, layout, important dates and more. When looking for something new, use the Bowling Ball Library to find exactly what you want, with filters for brand, cover & core types, RG, Diff and more. --- 7. Notes Keep track of information about your bowling and equipment. Create general notes, or add notes from within most of the other tools, such as for oil patterns, your bowling balls, Speed & RPM readings, Observation Trainer scores and more. --- 8. Score Calculator Whether earning how scoring works, teaching youth bowlers how to score, or just giving your brain a rest at a Triple-X fun night, there's lots of reasons the Score Calculator can come in handy! --- 9. Spare Names Just for fun, tap the pins to see nicknames of common bowling spares you probably don’t want to be leaving! --- "Every bowler should have Tenpin Toolkit on every device they own. It’s an incredible information source and provides so many things to help you learn, get better and challenge yourself." Tim Mack USBC Hall of Famer & Storm Bowling Director of Global Relations --- "A brilliant app with tools to help you develop and learn different skills. The observation trainer is a great way to train your eyes to start watching your ball go down the lane" Verity Crawley PWBA Professional & SCAD Team Coach --- --- --- Premium features can be unlocked with an in-app subscription. What a great app! I don’t understand how anyone who can afford to bowl would complain about paying $10 for a year of such a full featured app. Do they think developing software should be done for free!? Get a job ya lazy hobos! The only thing I’d like to see that isn’t already there is the ability to set up custom multi-pin spares in the Angles & Target tool, and a larger zoomable grid in the Bowling Ball Arsenal Graph which also shows how early it hooks in addition to how early or late it rolls. Great work to the dev. Thanks for making this
App is great but you can’t do anything without the membership
This app could be great if you’d like to spend money. You pretty much can do 20% of the app without the membership. Could be a great app to use and to recommend to friends and family
Most value of any bowling app on the market!
This app is a steal for the price, download it, and be happy you got in early! I use it for every purchase, and helped me learn a ton about my game and how I need to play the lanes.
limited uses
you have to pay to get most of the uses on this app.
Love this app…. But
I love how I’m able to see what I’m doing on the screen and I believe it’s a great coaching tool… but what I would personally appreciate would have different outcomes other than a strike on the aim trainer. This is sheerly because of the unique nature of the sport where you throw the ball perfectly yet “get robbed”. What I would also make a note on is having the ball bag be at least free for one ball or a small capacity (that’s just my thought) Over all great app Out of 10/8.9
Decent App! Maybe add a few items…..
This is a decent app which great potential! App can provide a very “basic” idea of how to initially line up and play a pattern Good settings options to be able to input some specifics such as drift, ankle to ball distance, arrow to pin targeting line, etc. I would like to suggest the ability to add more info into Angles and Targeting. Since we can add things like Bowling Ball Arsenal, find our Axis and Tilt, Rev Rate and Speed…. It would be GREAT if we can implement those numbers into Angles and Targeting! Example… choose Kegal Stonehenge pattern. Be able to input the Ball, Rev Rate, Speed, Axis and Tilt along with the other setting already being applied… then see how we can line up on this pattern with all the in. This would be HUGE! It would still just a starting point BUT would give a better suggestion than what it currently does now. Again.. decent app which I use from time to time… BUT would use more often I could use the additional stuff I suggested.
Glitches
I’m in Las Vegas, in some alleys, when you are looking up the pattern and the best angle for that shot, It glitches out. I have to log out of the app for it to stop.
v2.5.3 Minor bug fixes and performance improvements.
