GRouvy
Great real rides all over the world. Compete with yourself or others, or just for fun on a group ride. Tried others, but like Rouvy the most.
DOB does not work in setting a profile
Another user mentioned back in August that profile DOB does not work. This is still the case. I was able to make a profile by going to the website. I actually haven’t used this to ride yesterday but the interface looks good and friends have recommended it.
Can’t set up Profile
I downloaded the app and can’t set up the rider profile. The prompt is asking for a date of birth in the mm/did/yyyy format and its impossible to do it with the date of birth toggle in the setup screen
Rouvy is groovy.
Yeah I’m that old, and this product IS groovy. Nice videos of different roads/rides to sync with your speed. Don’t know that I believe the max ascent or not when reviewing the ride. But that’s in the middle of a ride and I’m having to climb again/still. But just like on the road, once finished and looking at numbers it’s pure heavy duty training done inside. Thanks Rouvy, Signed an Old Jarhead!
Buggy App Poorly Designed
Worst cycling app out there. Sounds great, but in practice the sign up, syncing and using the app are all buggy. After contacting support twice during set up, I finally gave up after a weeks use when my icon kept freezing and pedaling in place. The GUI is a poor experience and lacks from a design perspective as well. Not intuitive or clear it is difficult to use. It also suffers from frame rate failure based on filming, which is a limitation over video apps, however FulGaz for instance, allows the user to select the frame rate it was filmed at if desired, but Rouvy comes up short here. Good idea, maybe will improve down the road, but is poor alpha-grade software at this time

Great experience... when properly functioning. I like the challenges, but have missed out on completing many due to “AR asset file loading errors” in one or more of the routes. With ROUVY AR being a disaster, I wish they’d stick to improving this app or else I’ll be going to try Zwift at the end of my subscription. My setup is a Canyon CF SL 8.0 on a Kurt Kinetic trainer. I don’t run into connection issues with my setup, but app loading issues persist.
First time
