Referee Watch PRO

I use it for my soccer matches. Can’t figure how to show my distance in miles though. Everything else is perfect and easy to use.

I’ve loved this app for a couple years now because I could get my distance, heart rate, and see my on-field positioning. The distance is now way off, the heat maps don’t even match the area, and when you updated, I lost all my information. There’s no way that within a two hour period that I have run 19 miles in a soccer match while only staying on one half of the field. I’m a center that was averaging between 6-8 miles per game. My position has always maintained between the 18s and perpendiculars. Please fix this so I can actually use it again. I’ll change this rating and update if it actually does get fixed.

Ver. 2.3 Update: thank you! Everything is working and the new look on the watch appears to be nice. That fix was FAST and greatly appreciated. I’ll have 3-4 matches this weekend during a playoff tournament and I’ll update my review afterwards. Update ver. 2.2: I’m a long time user with around 250 matches logged on the app. I purchased the Pro version many years ago. I can’t restore access…. I still suggest: remove distance and heart rate data on the face seen during the match and increase the size of the timer numbers. It would be nice to not have to take so long to look at the watch.

Update after the app update. I’m a long time user with around 250 matches logged on the app. I purchased the Pro version many years ago. I can’t restore access. When I tap on “restore purchases” on the “more” page it says my purchase was restored, but I don’t get access to any of the functions. I tried restarting the app and even doing a hard re-start of the iPhone. I hope this gets fixed. I’ve got a tournament coming up in 4 days. Earlier comments: After about 30 more matches and 4 over this past weekend at a playoff tournament, and me recommending the app to 4 other referees, I have another suggestion. This has to do with the visibility of the timers and space on the watch face. While refereeing I have never made use or even looked at the heart rate or distance covered information. My suggestion is to remove them to provide more space for larger numbers with the timers. I really like getting a record of all the health information, but I review that after the matches. Not during. Looking forward to the new version in the works.

Lets you configure for multiple levels of games for ease of timing. Tracks everything you could want, but it eats battery, so if you’re working a lot of consecutive games, make sure you’re charged up. Otherwise, I’ve used it at over 180 games in the past year, with only 2 “hiccups”.

Super reliable app, used this for about ten games now and it’s worked perfectly for starting/stopping the clock in my intensive league that requires stoppages on every goal/caution/etc. The presets are great and extremely helpful in making everything smooth at game time and giving me one less thing to worry about. Two small UI QoL features that I would love: - Option to show distance traveled in miles - in completed matches, showing the name of the preset used. I ref at a lot of different levels and have presets for each, even down to if I'm AR or Center. It would be cool to track how much im running in each role/league vs other games in that role/league
