Great App. Wish there was proximity stats.
The app worked great with my Apple Watch. I would highly recommend this app. GPS data was spot on. With auto advance off, GPS and Auto Tracking shots were accurate. The few times it was off, it was easy to change as I entered my score after each hole. Within a few holes of first using the app, I figured out how to use it seamlessly. I spend 15-30 seconds while I walk to the next tee entering my data and never felt distracted from the game or my playing partners. Would love to see how my strokes gained stats compare to golfers with similar handicaps. Don’t need to change how the stat is calculated. Just give me some context. I’ve been entering the distance of all my putts but don’t get any proximity to the hole for GIRs or pitching/chipping. Seems like the data is there to do it. Would also be great to add custom shots to the club list like 1/2 SW or 3/4 PW so my average distance for a club doesn’t get impacted and I could track performance for those stock shots.

This app has been rock solid for my almost 12 year use of it. Sometime in early March there was an update that glitched the Apple Watch app in numerous ways. I notified support of the issues and version 5.95 took care of all of them. One star off for releasing a flawed version but like they were able to resolve the issues quickly.

I have used this app since 2018 and found it to be the best app for its price. It is easy to use and the ability to use my Apple Watch to keep score was a game changer. It kept me from having to access my iPhone constantly. When I have found an issue and reported it to Support, I got near immediate responses back. They have always been attentive and fixed each issue as it has arisen. I highly recommend this app if you are a serious golf player and don’t wish to waste time keeping track of your stats. Entering them on each hole for this app will do it for you.

I just purchased the “lifetime” membership and it’s no different than the free version. You do not get any of the tracking features or multiple scoring. I’m sure what comes with it outside of the $100. I would say be VERY CAREFUL if you decide to purchase. I’m going to say avoid it

This is the best app I use. Work all around the world. It speeds up play help with layup distance front and back of greens. You can keep track of stats. Drives ,putts, ect. Then you know what part of your game needs work.

I have used Golfshot for many years and it’s my go to for GPS on my watch and phone. I also use it to score for my groups. When we were recently evaluating handicaps for the individual holes, I was able to download thousands of rounds of data to contribute to the analysis. It’s easy to use and is great for scoring games. By the way, technical support is amazing. When my course changed the handicaps, it took no more than a day to get the data updated on Golfshot. I can’t wait till someday they add putting green slope to the app.
