AWU2UDDF is used to export underwater depth and temperature data collected on your Apple Watch into a standard Universal Dive Data Format (UDDF) XML file. That file can then be imported into standard diving log software such as Macdive or Subsurface to complete your diving log. AWU2UDDF integrates with the Health App and the HealthKit framework to access the depth and temperature date stored by the phone.
Thank you for making this!
I just wanted to say thank you for making this and pushing it all the way to production. I use my Apple Watch as a back up, but on my second dive the other day, my primary actually failed, badly. With your app, I was able to recover the Divelogs for that day! I was super gratified not to lose those, and it was easy to to the server and import them to subsurface.
Fantastic Little app if you use subsurface
This is a great if you use sub surface and an Apple Watch as a back up dive computer. You can easily send your data over to subsurface and have a quick reference for dive from the watch itself. It’s a shame apple ultra watch reslly only usable as a true computer via a terrible subscription application and haven’t allowed other developers to deploy anything similar to protect their partner. Pretty ugly. This app helps bridge that gap in a small but important way!
Added the ability to filter dives based on time, depth and date range. Also added the ability suppress exporting water temperature information (useful if you wear you watch under a drysuit.) Settings are accessible from the "gear" icon in the upper left.
