App is the reason not have AB app on your garmin
this app is total beta version tresshh. it collapses a lot. even touch works awkwardly. bullet data base is far less that it does not have A LOT OF AMMO. interface looks like some individual developer made in 2005. User interaction is worst. it does not hold bullet properties. it deletes every bullet propertied that you typed in after it sends data to iphone. now you gotta type every bullet properties again for all bullets you use.

I bought the Instinct 2 Solar Tactical just for the ballistics program advertised. I was disappointed to learn I had to buy a $300 app just to use it. I would never had bought the watch otherwise.

Very happy with the watch and the app. This will be a game changer for elk hunting as having the range card on the watch is very convenient. The Elite version has more features, but as someone who reloads mainly for hunting, the Ultralight version meets my needs perfectly.

Four days and $750 later, AB doesn’t work on my Instinct 2X tactical. Customer service, from both Garmin and Applied Ballistics, have no answers.

Paid $450 for a new Instinct 2x Tactical and find out it’s $100 to unlock any functionality for Applied Ballistics on the watch!? Yet I can buy the app for $30 to use on my phone? Or I could pay $300 for “elite” on my watch???? Come on AB, that’s ridiculous…….

App lacks basic functionality of competitors. Difficult to navigate and interact with, especially during compatition. Really wanted this to be good. Wouldn't pay the extra money for tactix with applied ballistics again.

Got a very expensive watch for the feature of having bullet profiles and it doesn’t have 6.5 creedmore or PRCs.. no 5.56. No 270 win mag… really hope Garmin doesn’t take money and not provide a feature that is the basis of this model
