I love Threads!
I came over after Musk decided to make it his life’s mission to destroy Twitter. I enjoy the people, for one. I haven’t run into anyone who’s outright rude, which I cannot say about Twitter. I’m not someone who goes online to start conflicts either. But it’s not Twitter. You can’t expect to completely supplement the experience with a different app. I’m sure it will grow over time, as apps do. I think it’s fairly robust, to star!

Except not at all. You screwed the pooch when you put everyone’s thread’s badge number to appear as 100M+ the other day. Not realizing it to be an apparent glitch, I removed my Threads badge from my IG. I was around #790,000 and thought that was cool to be within the first million. So I hid the badge not thinking twice about reading the notification regarding not being able to reinstate it because…well that would be stupid to not have that function as one of the most used app ecosystems around. Now I don’t have it and, while my own fault and it’s a stupid clout chasing part of social, this is one of the dumbest implementations of product features, or lack there of, in recent memory. It was legitimately the only reason I kept the app. Y’all better find a way to provide a reinstatement or I may kms. Do you want the blood of a poor, mid-20s gay on your hands? Maybe Zuck does, but surely not all of you do.

I’ve noticed that if I only have a few followers I’m invisible and no one sees my post not even my followers but if you have a couple thousand followers people see their post.

Every time I start the app I see new posts at the top and need to scroll down to find where I left off, at which point I can scroll back up and read posts in order. One of the recent updates made this worse.
