Switched is a brand new social network with matchmaking for gay kinksters. Launched in 2023, we want to change how kinky people connect, socialise, and create lifelong experiences (and even find love!), all while offering a modern design and functionality to fully express their kinks. * Your very own fully customisable profile * An interactive timeline * Beautiful picture galleries * Direct Messaging * Discover and Daily Matches * Nearby and Search
Doesn’t work
The “Nearby” function doesn’t load. Profile page is complicated, tries to put too much info into color bars. Not something I would use on a daily basis
Good start
I like the idea. Needs a lot of work, but good so far.
Nonfunctional Networking
What I like about this app: sleek UI, a cool approach to listing your interests. As a way to link people to a detailed profile of yourself from other websites, it’s fine. As an actual social app, I don’t understand the philosophy behind “matching”. It seems to suggest people based not only on which interests they’ve marked, but also matching which side of the interest… but the point should be to match people who have opposite sides of the same interest. It’s also terrible to try and find people who are nearby, as my suggested matches are all people who live on the other side of the world. Finally, message notifications are spotty and as a result, people never respond or hold an actual conversation.
So much better
This app is so much better than any other similar apps and services on the market. Please keep doing what you’re doing, I look forward to the user base growing. Finally some stats that make sense.
App Nonfunctional
The app straight up doesn’t work. I keep getting an internal server error. It will not show me anything—not even my own profile. I can’t even make a bio for myself. This is awful.
Fun in theory flat in practice
I have been off & on this app, it tries to be a social media style platform with a dating/matching side. I’ve been on the app for about 2 months I never really talked to anyone even when I tried to engage in matching/messaging people.
New app, still buggy
I love seeing a new app for the kink community finally come on the market. It seems all the previous ones were stuck in the early 2000s. So the new app is amazing, its giving a new breath of life that was sorely needed While this is a new updated look for everything the front and backends still needs some work. Going through multiple windows to view photos instead of just swiping, and having to reload messages to see new ones just to name a few. I hope the devs continue to work through the early bugs of the app, what they created has the potential to be something much bigger. But I’m also not holding my breathe either.
This update includes several performance and stability improvements.
