Motivated
Fun idea but not necessarily easier for cleanup. The app does motivate me to want to clean and track the trash that’s being removed but it’s got a few issues I can’t quite figure out. For instance, I thought there would be different default categories like aluminum cans or masks. I made a category for masks but misspelt it a cant correct or remove it now. Also, I couldn’t figure out how to end a session. I had to close the app and when I came back, it let me chose to end or resume. I think it would be nice if the app automatically had more detailed choices like cigarette butts or fast food garbage (maybe the city will see that McDonald’s is not cleaning up). Outside of the critiques, it’s a motivating app and the future rewards will be a nice tough. I also hope it can get people signed up to do weekend cleanups with fellow neighbors.
Why is this even a thing?
Another example of millennial trash trying to capitalize on people’s incessant need to prove they’re doing good, instead of just doing good. For goodness’ sake, just pick up your trash, and stop trying to pretend you’re starting the next big revolution, or build community around things we should all be doing anyway. Ridiculous.
Interesting concept but bad implementation
App is clean but as of the time of this review is nothing more than a camera. You can’t see pictures people took of their trash or even look at your own previously collected items.
Have to log in, or app does nothing
When you install the app there are two buttons “Login with Facebook”, “Login with Google”. Ok, this app does nothing, delete.
I don't use Google or Facebook
Please allow direct account creation via email. Can't use your app without that. I'm not going to create third party accounts that I don't want to use to use your app.
Doesn’t even let me sign in
It says error every time I sign in with google, used two different accounts. Please fix this I just want to try it
I see people using this in my neighborhood
I saw someone using this app outside starbucks and we struck up a conversation about how we both hate litter. I wish I could connect with people through the app. I think it’s a great idea and a lot of fun.
