Referral Mate! is a mobile application that creates large-scale behavior change by improving access and reducing friction in the networking experience of people especially underrepresented or introverted professionals and offers equitable chance for everyone to get connected to mentors, partners and collaborators. People use Referral Mate! as the platform of choice to network with professionals and mentors, who share common interests. Networking gets fun and intentional with Referral Mate!

Customer Problem 
Unconscious bias hurts underrepresented professionals in a number of ways, from a lack of encouragement from friends and colleagues to a lack of mentors or to a lack of funding from investors. Creating a solid personal network is critical to business and career success. Few people are natural networkers, but majority of people sit at their desk, alone, scrolling through their phone, wondering who to meet and how to create meaningful lasting professional relationships.

Event sponsors and organizations provide participants with a link to a co-branded version of Referral Mate!. Referral Mate! provides both the people and the tools needed to build referrals and lasting relationships. In addition, our experts will provide video explainers, support materials, and online 
support. There’s no need to network alone.
