Even after app & TV app update, still 403 error
I have logged out and logged back in, I have deleted the app and reinstalled it. It keeps on giving me 403 error. there is nothing wrong with my Instagram connection. there is nothing wrong with anything that I am doing this is the app it’s not connecting to Instagram properly. It all has to do with the way the TV portion of the app connects to the mobile device portion of the app, there is a discontinuity there. this has nothing to do with my Instagram account it is the way that your app communicates to Instagram that is causing the error. basically the TV version of this app is not being accorded the proper permission to view Instagram. This is within the app and has nothing to do with my credentials. I have no way of looking at the literal file permissions of the app within the Apple TV, as the Apple TV is sandboxed and Jailed. if this were any other platform I could take a direct look at the app itself on the TV, and I could check on the permissions of every file within that app. that’s what needs to be done I believe, you need to increase the level of permission for that part of the app that does the communication to Instagram. Previous It still does not show me my Instagram profile, it gives me a “403 Error”, which is basically I am being denied permission to view the content. I believe I did pay for this like everybody else did who is not satisfied with this app. for a while I was allowed access to my Instagram profile and then suddenly one day I started getting the 403 error. I believe this error originates within the Apple TV and there is not really any way to clear out the cache. I have even tried deleting the app on both phone and TV, then rebooting the TV. I still get 403.

Waste of money
Do not buy it doesn’t work and you won’t get a refund
This is starting to make me angry now
I started off writing a positive 5-star review of this app. It got instantly DELETED. When that happens, regardless of how useful I think a paid app is, it immediately becomes a 1-star review. This is the third time my review was deleted. If this review deletion stops, I’ll raise the rating back up to 5 stars. It was very difficult to connect this to IG: I had to use my MS Authenticator app, to generate a key for Facebook AND IG, after logging in to both systems, the app was connected. PLEASE stop deleting my review.

Very happy that after months of waiting - it’s connected to my Apple TV!!

This app is dysfunctional. It took my money and the app didn’t work. As an Apple shareholder I’m very disappointed. :(
