Amazing app
From podcasting to random conversations, this app has it all covered.
Not for me anymore
This app was a great idea, but, since the last big update, I can’t even access my account anymore not is asking for a phone number with the account (which is not a smart way if it is permanently because people change phone numbers all the time). I still couldn’t open the app even with my phone number used. I hoped the developers can also make it more visually accessible as I use my phone in dark mode with larger fonts because I am legally blind. Plus, it is not always consistent with voiceover on either. I rather enjoyed making the “casts” and would have liked to have downloaded them before deleting the app since I can’t use it. Very disappointed Shane!
Boring
Not much of a fan of this platform . The technical aspects are fine . The lack of diversity and commentary is a real drawback .
Social media with a human touch
I love that you can share and comment via voice. This app allows me to converse with people around the world, learning about their lives and sharing details from mine. Audio postcards have an authenticity that photo filters lack. And I love that the app developers listen to their users! Looking forward to UX improvements.
Social Audio: Podcasting’s Next Frontier
I’ve been a part of the podcasting revolution from the beginning. But it’s still a broadcast medium and it demands a particular knowledge that many creators find daunting. Also, listeners find it difficult, or intimidating, to give feedback to podcasters. Limor allows audio creators to, like a podcast, post audio in the app (with an image option) and then allow listeners to comment with audio or text directly on this audio “cast.” This interaction is the ultimate in podcasting engagement. Who wouldn’t want immediate feedback from listeners?
No iPhone x optimization
As title states, this app is not optimized for the X; despite their pics online showing that it is.
Limor!!!!!
I’ve been using the app off & on since it’s release. Really easy to use & I’d recommend it to anyone who is looking to get a start in podcasting. No equipment to worry about, no hosting fees or websites. Good way to get use to recording yourself before you move into a full on production. 🤘
