A koyn is anything with two sides; news, issues, topics, ideas, trends, events, polls, etc. Anyone can create koyns. The platform empowers average citizens to start local or national discussions, by sharing content and opinions and assigning two sides. Like a poll. 
Users must pick a side to engage in online discussions on koyns. koyn’s dual color feed is designed to dismantle political echo chambers, and expose you to alternative world-views. koyn safeguards user data, and protects user identity through privacy control features. 

According to Gallup, 62% of Americans say that a third major political party is needed. koyn enables nuanced and direct discussions across the political spectrum. Soon you can connect with like minded peers based on grassroots issues and opinions. You can form pools with such peers, and invite your pools to engage on koyns. koyn is among the next iterations of social media interfaces. All persons and groups on both sides of any aisle will finally be treated uniformly, without algorithmic or organizational biases. The non-extremist majority that has largely dropped out of the political discourse needs a home. A more egalitarian internet, where polar viewpoints and diverse groups can co-exist, is possible.
