Unless You're Using an iPad - RUN!
I've used both the 'Beta" version and stable desktop download for this platform. Everytime I've been unable to see or play any games other than Uno and a weird (most likely useless) Fortnight built in thing...The days of playing all the fun stuff like Heads Up and all the others are far behind me. The countless glitches, lack of access to features (changing backgrounds, sharing screen, copy/paste, games, etc) make this app completely useless. Stick to using it on your Android device or Apple phone/iPad. Both the Chrome extension and Mac versions are unbelievably flawed.

The app was amazing simple and working from the updates 1 year ago 5 stars and works with other devices but ever since the update mid-April 2021 on mac it has not been working for be I am just stuck to a screen looking at myself and cant join other invite others or turn off or no my video & audio. I request the creators restore to the older verison 1y ago the app on mac is simple the creators can just leave the app by itself.

Since the most recent update you completely changed your layout into that of the mobile app. However, that defeats the purpose. It makes it impossible to do netflix party or see your friends while doing other things on one device. When I open houseparty I'm automatically online. Not to mention notifications for the app never show up on my laptop despite the notifications being checked on my laptop and notifications working for all other apps. I think you should go back to the old setup because this isn't fulfillng it's purpose.
