Gigit! is your shoebox full of concert tickets, your collection of worn out festival wristbands or your concert log in a spreadsheet (if you are as nerdy as we are). Trigger your live music memories with your Gigit Liveline and get sucked back into that moment when you and your friends were sipping warm beer from a plastic cup, standing in awe of the band on stage. Save the moment. Share the memory. Start your Gigit Liveline and share all your live music memories with those beer-sipping friends and all the other music lovers out there. Whether it’s connecting with like-minded people or discussing with dissenters; share the love for live music all round and be inspired for new gigs and glory. And guess what? You’ll find all this in one app: Gigit! Your own concert history as part of a communal concert database which you’re sharing with all the other music lovers. Join the live music community today!
Needs improvement
I have used a few web based concert logging services. I was excited to use a app based one. Don’t get wrong, I like this app for the most part. The only issue that I have with it has to do with selecting the venue where you saw the band. If the venue is not in their list of available venues, then you can’t complete your entry. There plenty of venues that are no longer around and can’t be added.
Good for people who use Goodreads/untapped/IMDb for similar tracking purposes
Great but would love an option to favorite venues... I’m backlogging a lot of concerts that I’ve been to and it would be so much easier/faster if you were able to quickly select from a set of favorite venues. Also, an option to add supporting acts without having to include each band in the title would be cool. That way you could see stats of how many artists you’ve seen as well as how many gigs you’ve been to.
database expansion and data cleaning. Fun stuff! To be continued…
