So easy so awesome
The app is so easy. And it’s seamless to order online then pick up. The folks at Grainger are so very helpful and skilled at getting you what you need even if you don’t know what it’s called. The folks in my Westchester NY store are the best.

Never received order
First time I’ve ever ordered from Grainger. Ordered some cores from them, expected to be delivered 2 days afterwards. Never received product. I then received an email from Grainger with no details or explanations about a return/refund? Without any context as to what they’re wanting from me or want me to do. So I just bit the bullet and had to reorder the same product again and spend another $200. So as of right now, I’m about $400 out of pocket and my business is on pause until I get these cores. Next step will be to call make sure they’ll refund me for the first purchase.

Vast improvement on the old app
Search, filtering, product info are intuitive. Navigation of the app is pretty easy, though I’m surprised that I haven’t yet been able to find FAQs. Also not crazy about the nebulous nature of cost when ordering for pickup. Can’t estimate sales tax? Shipping costs apply to pick-up orders? I live ten minutes from a branch, so why would shipping costs be a black box? Seems pretty straightforward to me. I’m picking up an item instead of using freight for a residential delivery. Free?

Why so many notifications and they are WRONG?!
I get the same notification multiple times all the time. Jus town got 29 notifications my order was picked up but it wasn’t, some of it is ready for pick up! I get at least 5 notifications every time it sends me one. This is on my iPhone 14 Pro, my work iPhone 13, and my iPhone XR I used to have.
