The worst selling experience I have ever had
I sent in a Nintendo Wii set my son he got him for Christmas because he already had one and he never use the one that he had. I also sent in several luxury clothing items including a Givenchy jacket, Armani suit, Prada dress pants, moschino T-shirt, Gucci pants, several pair of Dior jeans and other high-end items from luxury brands. They took all of them out of the dust bags carelessly tossed them in a pile on the floor and took a group picture of them then offered me 20 bucks for it. Oh but that was just the start of the nightmare. They don’t itemize or list anything. So the offer that was sent to me just said miscellaneous used clothing. The Wii and controllers said used gaming console/ broken. I think they offered me $10 for that. The thing is it was a brand new Wii the one that we got back was used and did have significant noticeable damage on it. I contacted them and was furious they said they would contact the seller and get back to me. I never heard back from them. The person they sent to my house looks like he had just stumbled out of the bar at 6 AM and realized he had to run to work. He was rude disheveled and very much did not want to be there and it was obvious. I attempted to ask him a couple of questions about any kind of proof that I had sent the items with him like should I sign some thing or take a picture or how did they know that I sent the items in. I tried to be very polite about the way I phrased it because to be honest with you I wasn’t sure if this guy even worked for the company at all he had no type of uniform no type of identification no nothing to show that he worked there. So I just sent all of these super expensive items off of the perfect Stranger and hoped that I wasn’t going to get ripped off. I was never contacted by the person who was supposed to be listing my items not once. Instead the company sent me my $20 offer and when I said no please send back my items it took weeks before they were returned to me , crumbled in a box taped up left on my porch while I was at work with no notification that they had been left. When I opened it I found my items to all be without the dust bags they were sent it with, which isn’t that big a deal except they were brand specific and a lot of customers want the desk bag with her I don’t wanna buy it so I try to keep them together. I was sent back a weed that did not belong to us which was damaged to the point where I finally just threw it out instead of trying to fix it. And I had to have all of the items dry cleaned before I could list them on a different platform because they all had to be re-cleaned and seemed. It was the worst selling experience I have had using an app that I have over the last 15 years used probably every single app available in my country. This is the very first one I’ve ever given a one star. To summarize there’s no communication the driver was rude the person who was going to flip my items had no communication with me and the condition of the items returned is absolutely unacceptable if not straight out illegal. I don’t trust this company, I will never do business with them again, and I strongly urge you to read all of the reviews about them. You’ll notice most of the five star reviews all sound the same, you know like a bot wrote them. And all of the one stars pretty much say the same thing I’m telling you. Do you due diligence, Judge accordingly, and proceed cautiously.
Absolutely love
I absolutely love this app it makes it so easy and everything pays for itself. Only thing is that the update is taking longer than expected, nonetheless I will be here when it’s back!!
They make it easy
While helping my mom move, I pulled anything with a designer label that she didn’t wear anymore. All I had to do was take a few pictures and answer a few questions, my seller did all of the rest of the work. Highly recommend this app if you don’t have the time to do the research and find out what sells best on which sites, etc.
Absolute nightmare!
Horrific!
Great app
I sold some items of clothing that had been in my closet. So easy, like money in the bank!
Do Not Use
I do not recommend FLYP as a reselling platform. Not only do your “pro sellers” stiff arm you on sale price but the pay out percentage is garbage. In addition I’ve had two sellers steal my entire lot and was minimally compensated for my losses. Use another platform!!
