Free Version Only Allows 3 Watchlist Items
Trying to find an alternative to PricePulse but haven’t had much luck so far. This app seemed perfect at first and it’s super easy to add existing wishlist items to the app’s watchlist - which is the most convenient method I’ve seen implemented so far - literally two clicks and done. The problem? You can only add just three items before getting a prompt to purchase a subscription to add more. There is no perpetual license cost option which instantly disqualifies this app from my price watch contenders. I haven’t gotten to the actual price alert portion yet, but I would pay a flat $29.99 to have perpetual access to this app instead of subscribing but unfortunately they don’t allow for that option. I almost think I should develop my own app to easily help myself and others take advantage of Amazon price drops. It shouldn’t be that hard to import Amazon wishlists, add individual items, build in a round the clock price scrubber and generate instant push alerts so that you don’t miss out on good deals. Add a perpetual license type and you’ve sold me, until then it looks like it’s back to further app surfing and possibly learning app development to handle it myself.
Can't Sign In on Apple Silicon Mac
The app doesn't recognize my password even though it works everywhere else.
Too Many Problems
Program has numerous bugs/problems which would take quite a while to describe. Also, extremely large ads, which block your view, unexpectedly appear. Lastly, something is wrong when a developer has to respond to so many reviews. Very disappointing.
Waiting…
The developer was quick to respond to my question. Now it’s a matter of sitting back and waiting for the price alert.
Doesn’t work
There’s no way to add items to the watch list.
Free version is a wast of time.
If you buy the app it will probably be useful, but the free version is a total waste of time, it does not give you price historical data.
Used to be better
This app used to be quite nice. Limited but useful. Now they’ve completed “updated” it and you need to pay a subscription fee to have it be useful. I deleted it.
