Archive Web pages and Tweets to the Wayback Machine! To archive Web pages or Tweets simply "Share" them to this app. From Safari - select the "Share" icon at the bottom of the screen then select this "Wayback Machine" app. From the Twitter app - select the "v" icon at top-right of Tweets, select "Share Tweets via..." then select this "Wayback Machine" app. But first you must add this app to your iOS device's "Share" feature by selecting the Share icon (the up-pointing arrow at the bottom of Safari) then selecting the "..." (More) button and finally adding this app. After you have archived your web pages or Tweets you can confidently share their Wayback Machine URLs via Twitter, Facebook, Email, etc. knowing they will be there for decades to come. “May take a while”
As in “the rest of your day” type of while. Then, after it takes a while, I get a “failed” notification, at least that’s what it’s been doing lately. Like most everyone else, I don’t quite understand the purpose of this app. I’m saving pages for the heck of it but don’t see how the app is supposed to help me enjoy them. In addition, it’s buggy. You’d think that a great and essential website such as the archive, our main keepers of web history, would offer an app up to par with it but that’s not the case here at all.
cant login
made me change my password, still wouldnt let me login
Worthless
Love all the great content at archive.org but this app is worthless. Try to use your Google address to log in. I dare you. This isn’t that hard guys. Pretty basic programming.
I thought it would be like the website… I was wrong
I downloaded this thinking it would be a quicker easy way to browse the archive. On the webpage it has categories you can browse and see whatever you’re interested in. Here you have to already know how to find what you’re looking for which doesn’t make a lot of sense
Wow!
I hoped the reviews were wrong, because much of the content on website is genius. I will recheck on using app later & use website for now.
Horrible
Doesn’t work. It only works on desktop. This app and the mobile version doesn’t work. I wish there was a way to read books on this app and on mobile that wasn’t so buggy and allowed you to put bookmarks on the correct page.
Broken login
This app is broken. The login with google link doesn't work. Impossible to login
Fix the "not able to login" bug and patron can now signup using archive.org url
