Alco is awesome
I’ve used this app since it was released. That was back when system 7 was still in use. Alco does a great job maintaining it and adds new features quite often. Its not fancy, it just does its job quietly and stays out of the way. The addition of the iOS version is a very welcome tool to have in my kit.
Feature request: ability to import html file
It would be convenient for me to be able to import previous bookmarks. Perhaps the folder structure could be preserved as well

May not seem that flashy here on the App Store….
Here in the App Store so many different apps try to show off features that don’t matter or social integration or they just have a lot of promises and nothing really works. Well URL Manager Pro is different. And because of this it might seem a little bit “boring“ at first glance. But when you combine the simplicity of this tool along with the desktop application you have the ability to manage thousands of bookmarks if need be. Forget social bookmarking or visual bookmarking, this is for people that have some serious bookmarks!
Alco ROCKS
This is one of those apps I have used for many many years. It is extremely well maintained! The recent addition of the iPhone app is a wonderful addition. Other apps come and go but this one is absolutely a necessity!
Excellent Bookmarks Manager for those with lots of bookmarks!
I was so tired of running into apps that said they were “social bookmarking“ and emphasized sharing links or having a screenshot of the website viewable in thumbnail view. If you have lots of URLs to manage - whether you are an academic, researcher, developer, or if you just keep 200 tabs open constantly like me - this is the app for you! This way you can keep your bookmarks separate and not tied to a browser. But you can also import from other browsers and manage larger numbers.
Not useful without $30 purchase
Most of the key features aren't enabled in the app store version -- it would be nice if the description mentioned that you needed to buy a $30 in-app upgrade to get them.
Added the capability to move folders into folder. Added the capability to move bookmarks or folders to the top level.
