The TMAC 2020 (Tactical Mutual Aid Communications - 2020) App organizes radio frequencies into various zones that the Los Angeles County Fire Department utilizes to communicate between Los Angeles County Firefighters and cooperating agencies. The TMAC 2019 App assists the user by rapidly locating and displaying radio channel information. The user will be able to sort the zones by UHF, VHF, Camps BK, Camps KNG, and 800 mhz frequencies. This app also features training materials on how to utilize the radios used by Los Angeles County Firefighters. This app is sponsored by the County of Los Angeles Firefighters’ Association and the Los Angeles County Fire Department Association of Chiefs.
Love the app
Only issue I have is when I look at the frequency details, then back out to the zone, app crashes. Happens on iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 11; iPad works fine.
Good information
This is a great resource to use in the field when you don’t have access to laptops. The information appears to be accurate and easy to use
2018 option not showing up
Updated it today and when I open to select 2018, it still only has 2016 and 2017 as channel plan options to choose from.
BN & Mode 4 needs to be updated
Still showing Blue 6 for east county TRO. Should be Blue 5
Best Detailed map and channels
Great app with an awesome map to help out know which area is which. Channels are very detailed.
Tnx for update!
With the bug-fix applied, and access to data restored, this app is back among the more useful apps in my toolbox. I'd give it 5 stars if they didn't slap 'confidential' on information that was trivial to find in the public domain. Again, if it's readily available on a dozen hobbyist sites, does it really make much sense to hide it here? No added security is gained if a user can pop out of the app and google the information anyway... Hide tactical frequencies, sure, but interop??
TMAC 11
Easy to use and smaller than the pocket guide. Needs a few tweaks to make it better.
This update includes the 2020 TMAC Channel Plan
