"tldr-pages" is a crowd-sourced collection of concise man-pages, for when the traditional manuals are just too much. This app is a client for viewing those tldr-pages.
No content
Will not download any manpage content, and therefore currently worthless.
A time saver
Feels like a cheatsheet for *nix that filters out the fluff for those times when you just need to recall the options for a particular command. If you work on the CLI, this is a must have reference. Check out the vim section and thank me later.
Sadly it isn’t Too Long to Read
I got the impression this was a man page app. It shows no switches, doesn’t link to man pages, it’s a simple command aggregator and a wasteful one at that. I wish I hadn’t purchased it.
Feature request: Personalization
Amazing app! I would like the ability to edit in my own custom additions to existing commands. I know I can contribute to the open source project, but I don’t want to change the default for everyone. I just want to customize/personalize only for myself.
Clean & Simple
Probably one of the most useful apps for any developer or sysadmin. The only thing I suggest to add will be a filter for OS/Distro related commands. Great job!
Fast, lean and useful
This is one of the better apps I’ve used on mobile. Responsive and fast, and the tldr content is incredibly useful. I hope to contribute to the tldr project at some point. Works flawlessly on my older iOS hardware. This honestly makes me excited for mobile development.
