??? No Update
Ok had this app for awhile, but decided to see if there was an update Nope according to the update thing been a year since last update Not sure what has happened ??? Had a TX concealed permit since 1996
List shows one status, entry shows another.
When I look at an entry on the list view, it might show Valid but the individual entry shows Invalid or the other way around. Don’t know which one is correct.
Accessible for the blind and visually impaired
First off, this is not a joke review. I am completely blind and my wife is cited. We are both licensed to carry and one of the problems that I have being blind is the inability to see the signs. As an license holder, even though I am blind, I am still bound by the same responsibility as everyone else. As an attorney, I certainly don’t wanna get in trouble by entering a place that may have one of the signs. This app gives me the independence to be able to get an alert before I enter the facility plus saves me the embarrassment of having to ask the staff or to disclose that I have a concealed carry license let alone a concealed firearm. I do wonder if it might be possible to develop a separate Apple Watch app so that an individual who carries the Apple Watch as their primary alert notification would be able to use the watch without the phone. This being said, kudos to developer they obviously read their voice over documentation to make it screen reader accessible! Absolutely five stars across the board.
Great community but slow searching
The app concept is great, along with the ability to post and update reviews (incl. with pictures), and the moderator works swiftly to either approve posting entries or tell the user why the posting/comment wasn’t published. However, the app is super slow when searching for businesses and switching the search bar from business name to city search. The app also crashes frequently, esp. when tapping on certain businesses to look at their profiles. A bit of tinkering to make the app more stable would go a long way.
Very helpful app
Great app, not perfect but overall it’s a very useful tool.
Great help!
I appreciate the information the app gives. Being aware ahead of time helps make informed decisions. My wife and I have not gone to businesses listed as 3006 & 3007 at least a half dozen times. My only issue with the app is the variable sensitivity of the proximity notification. I have it set to 300 ft for 90 seconds. I have had notifications pop up as I drive on the freeway at the speed limit. That’s not the norm but often enough to be a bit annoying. Nevertheless, it’s a great app!
$$$
Love this app mainly so that when I have my license I will get alerts and it will help me to know where to spend my money... and which stores/restaurants not to spend money at
