Only subscription and too pricey
Can’t purchase it and the prices are higher than real paper books :). And it’s not so cool anyway LDOCE is better and much cheaper. You said: “This will be passed on to you.” What does it mean? You will add one-time purchase option or what? I checked the app and there’s nothing yet only subscriptions there.

OALD8
I’d been using oald8 for many years but now that i’ve changed my phone i can’t re-download or restore it anymore. What am i supposed to do? I had paid for it then but now...?
Good dictionary with some tech issues.
I do love the dictionaries and how they organized, this is for sure. Used it for Mac as well (yeah, it works pretty well on Mac), but to buy a subscription an to make it work needed to buy it on my phone first to be synced with the Mac app (but to be synced, while "restore purchase" doesn't really work, I needed to uninstall and install again. Message to developers: 1. Make please the option to "go back" when you browse on words links inside the word 2. Fix the ability to click on any word in the desctiption of the word to go to its articls (it works on the mobile app but not on Mac). 3. Make an settings options to be some sections to be opened by default (for instance, "word origin" as for not to click to it each time to unfold. 4. There are plenty of other little issues with user interface, but they are not so critical as disctibed above. Fix them please!
Cannot download OALD9th edition
I have been using the newly released OALD 9th edition for a long time. Now I just bought a new iPad Pro and I searched it on the App Store to download but it’s not there. Please put it back! 🥺
a problem regarding oald9
I know this is the comment page of oald10 but since oald9 has been deleted from the appstore, I have to write about the issue of oald9 here. I recently bought iPad pro which has m2 processor and i found that i couldn’t download oald9 data at the oald9 app. the same problem occurred when i tried to download oald9 app on the m2 iMac. oald9 is an ios app, so i can understand that i can’t download on the imac. but it’s ipad. I am heavily dependent on the oald9 app. I hope you could find the problem and fix it soon.
Includes a fix for iPad where the search and index sometimes became stuck. Also, you can now link your Oxford ID to your Apple, Google, or Microsoft account and sign in with those accounts.
