Buyer beware !
I bought this app believing that it would translate interchangably between Europeen languages; for my purposes, French to English and English to French. Yes, it translates French and yes, it translates English, but it does not translate French to English or English to French; only to RUSSIAN. Shame, shame, shame on the Apple Store for not making this clear!

I am very disappointed that ABBYY removed Latin from the previous version. I loved the proverbs as well. this is utterly sad to me though I understand this does not resonate to many people

The performance of the app was greatly improved over the time. So my original comment is not applicable any more. Thank you. Original: If your app starts forever why do you show a modal splash screen (habit from 90x) that blocks from using the computer?
