Terrible customer service
It took me several months to get a response from Bible Gateway. Then they just advised me how to cancel my subscription. Even that doesn’t help because one gets no refund for the unused portion of the YEAR. The subscription stays active until the next renewal period. I pay so that I can listen offline without ads but it OFTEN doesn’t successfully stay downloaded. And it often reverts back to advertisements. I’ve sent so much time uninstalling/reinstalling, etc. I’m sad because I need this.

The app does not stop when my phone goes dark. Only if I put my phone to sleep. Before updating iOS it didn’t stop but at least it keeps playing.

This app is not reliable and overly frustrating to enjoy. How do you cancel the subscription? Instructions say to go to Apple ID / Settings / Subscriptions When I click on this app there is no option to cancel, only renew. Please advise

I very much enjoy this app when it is working. But it stops working, needs to be restarted, often freezes and just will not do anything and I actually need to completely delete the app and re-download it and reinstall it in order to get it running again.I have signed up, and purchased a year subscription, and even downloaded the version that I like to listen to so that I do not have to rely on a Wi-Fi signal. Nothing helps. I am using an iPhone 14 Pro Max with plenty of space and memory. This is the only app that fails. I kept hoping that the developers would fix the issue whatever it is, but as of yet this has not happened. I would have contacted the developers directly but there is not a link in the app to do that.

App freezes, have to uninstall completely, then works a short time and freezes again. I’ve had this problem intermittently since I upgraded to paid , but now it’s habitual. Very sad because I really enjoy using this app along with my Bible reading and sorry I spent the money.
