Voices
It’s an okay app. It is a little glitchy and the voices are great but since I absolutely hate to read it works for me.
it says all the periods aloud 😭
this makes the app virtually unusable
Happiness to find this app
This really has motivated me to read along having a disability and having tools like this, makes it all the better.
Not as advertised
I was looking for an audio reader that sounded more realistic. I sampled the voices and they sounded pretty good. However, once I tried the free trial and put in webpage to read, it was read VERY robotically and nothing like the samples.
Major issue, please look into!
I have been using this app for years daily and I absolutely love it!!! But just recently it started adding 'â€' to the end of certain words?? I tried to find a pattern to it, but the only one I can find is that it usually follows an ending quotation mark (”), but not always? Please look into this! It is very distracting and removes the immersion to suddenly hear ‘circumflex eur’ randomly. (This is occurring when I paste text into the ‘Read the clipboard’ option and has never occurred before now, so I know there is nothing wrong with the text I’m pasting in.) Once this hopefully gets fixed, I’ll change my review back to five stars!~ [Edit: I just realised that this occurred right after my iPhone updated to IOS 17.4.1, so I think that may be part of it! I hope this helps you narrow down the issue!]
Yes
This is great awsone cool
Works great! Bookmarks would be helpful
I like it so far. It would feel safer to use if a line could be bookmarked to resume playback from - since epubs don't really display the current page number
