Let your phone speak for you! Text to Speech is a modern TTS (text to speech) app, designed to be SIMPLE, QUICK, and INTUITIVE…oh, and completely FREE. It has a familiar “chat-style” interface, so it feels just like you're texting somebody, helping you communicate with SPEED and EFFICIENCY. HOW IT WORKS ————————- That’s easy – just type, then press “speak”. More specifically, Text to Speech produces natural sounding speech from the words that you type. USES ——— - I lost my voice, and I use to struggle to communicate with others. But then I found this app which enables me to speak to people again! - I was bored, but not anymore! This app is surprisingly addicting and makes a fun and entertaining way to have my phone say funny things. - I can even use this text to speech app as a text reader. Just copy and paste online articles, books, etc., and this TTS reader will read it to me. Features we (happily) DON’T have —————————————- - NO Ads - Sorry, we know you love being blasted by popup ads every second like many text to speech apps, but this app doesn’t have any. - NO paid subscriptions - This is a text to speech free app. We’ll take our payment in the form of a kind review so that others can find and enjoy this app too. Features we DO have ———————————- - Unlimited use - completely free. No ads either. - 56 different voices - 38 languages - Adjust volume, pitch, and rate - Save frequent phrases to Favorites - Background Audio implemented so the text reader can continue playing even when your phone is locked. - Email Support. Don’t hesitate to email any questions or suggestions you have while using this app. We hope to make your experience as great as possible. Very convenient
I have a seizure disorder and it leave me having trouble talking and this is one of the first one I downloaded bc I can not only change the voice but the pitch and the rate so I can talk as fast or as slow as I want which is a toggle I haven’t seen in these apps yet maybe I haven’t tried enough yet but my favorite part is not having to fight ads after one sentence like it’s hard enough to keep up with the conversation imagine having to wait 1:30 seconds before you can talk 😭
Great app.
Isn’t it nice when an app provides an add free service and doesn’t try to shove an overpriced subscription down your throat? No ads and free so it’s automatically great. 9/10 cause the ui & functionality could be a little better in some places. Little to no bugs tho.
Good thing it’s totally Free
Good thing it’s free because it’s very limited to what it can do. In fact, one of the first small Mac computers back in the 1990’s could do exactly what this App does: it allows you to type (or paste) text into a prompt and then reads it back. You can select different voice dialects, but most sound robotic and unnatural (which is okay for minor applications), but you can’t save the audio playback. So all you can do is listen to what you type. I guess you get what you pay for - nothing?
Lost Voice
Awesomeness! Lost my voice to cancer and this is so helpful. One of my nurses suggested it…
Text to speak
I love this app and it works well.
this app is very fun
I like using it to mess around
Great for people who can’t speak or just people who don’t want to speak
Great for people who can’t speak or just people who don’t want to speak although the voices could be better on my opinion
Fixes the "low volume" issue some have experienced.
