Really bad syncing, frequent data loss
This app is the one I’ve been looking for: list with markdown notes. Other GTD apps focus too much on schedule, they ignored the basic rationale of human beings, we are just not able to perfectly design every step of a project, most often we are just finding our path along the way. But apps like things3, Microsoft todo, they assume you can plan everything ahead and be precise about date and time, come on that’s so stupid and impossible. What I need is a list app that also has great note-taking feature. Notion is good at taking notes, but it is not natively designed as a list app, so I am so desperate to find a list app that works as a list but allows you to take note like Notion, and here it is. I am so happy to see this coming, but I have to say you guys have a long way to go. Please do make the basics above usable level, especially the syncing and saving. It is really annoying to see my notes disappear a newly added part every 3 minutes. And today I even can’t enter the app, it keeps loading on Mac, iPhone and web app. Please, make it usable at least, other cool feature can wait!!

The app just takes too long to load tasks. Yeah it's probably oy half or three quarters of a second, but that's an eternity compared to the instantaneous loading of other todo apps. I see lot of potential for Superlist to be far more powerful than any other todo list app out there, but right now it just feels sluggish and unpleasant to use.

I was a Wunderlist user until Microsoft turned it into To Do, so I had high hopes when the Wunderlist team released Superlist. Unfortunately, it’s not up to that standard yet. I like the design, mostly. The 3rd pane with the picture feels like a waste of space that could be better used. A calendar view? I like the Gmail integration where I can add a Superlist label to an email to add it to my Superlist inbox. However, there are key features that are missing and some quirks that prevent me from using Superlist instead of Todoist for now: 1) Ability to set priority to list items 2) Ability to rearrange items in the Today and Tasks views 3) Ability to make bulk changes to tasks. E.g., change the due date to multiple overdue tasks. 4) Subtasks show as separate items in the Tasks view rather as part of the main task. 5) More options for recurring tasks would be nice. E.g, 3rd Thursday every month.

Nice app. I’m afraid it’s going to be awhile before I could switch and I’m sure I am not alone when I say this. With heavy weight managers out there. Things 3, Todoist, OmniFocus. This app has some miles to go to compete. To be a powerhouse. We must have apps for all Apple’s ecosystem. Phone, watch, iPad and Mac. I will say it is promising and I will keep it on my device to keep up with the updates. Still have 1 eye 👁️ on you for the future. Keep up the great work. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future updates. P.S. Don’t forget full keyboard support!

I really really want to love it because todo+mini blog is the way to go for me. But I almost lost my blog due to poor sync. I wrote on my office notebook, when I got home and opened Superlist in my iPhone, it did not sync, maybe cause I’m in China? But even after I opened an VPN, it won’t sync this time. First time encounter this problem. Luckily I still have the Superlist web tab opened when I get back to my office.

I can’t wait for this to be my main app. Right now, the syncing issues between devices (and the fact that the list view is sometimes completely empty), as well as the lack of landscape support on iPad, makes this not usable for me. Hoping they’ll fix it though at which point I’ll update my rating. Thanks team.

Shared lists on the teams page will now display member icons next to it, to make it easier to see which lists are shared. You can now see who has access to a task via the indication above the message section in the task details view. We also made additional sync, stability and performance improvements.
