We recently purchased a Baby Lock Flare and very much enjoy the multitude of designs available from various websites. However, we desired to create some of our own designs for specific needs. When investigating available machine embroidery design software packages we found most are very expensive and would only work on MS Windows. (We have Macs in our home.) Finally, I discovered Stitch Buddy. It is exactly what we need: > It runs on Macs. > It displays and prints PES files including dieline files at 100% scale. > It displays designs with the thread colors we choose. > We can make changes to the designs we have purchased. > We can create our own designs from scratch. > The price is very reasonable. I am a novice at machine embroidery but am an experienced computer professional. I have worked with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for many years. Therefor, the StitchBuddy user interface was mostly intuitive. However, I could not locate several functions that I knew had to be available. In every case I found what I needed in StitchBuddy>Help and StitchBuddy>Help>Support Website. Those two resources have a lot of information. Well done, Matthias!

I have used this app since 2012! I recently got a new mac and got to try this updated version from app store! Love it! The support is awesome, always responds quickly. I was up and running with new version in minutes. Such a great powerful app.
