Scans Wonderfully
This App scans wonderfully. Set to Auto Scan it picks up the edges and centers and evens the scan so it makes it so much easier to get a good scan. I would have given it a 5 but for some reason it kept kicking me out of the app and any multi page document I was working on at the time was gone and I had to start over with it. Really irritating to say the least. It didn’t start doing it until I purchased the app. To get a 5 stop it from kicking me out.

I’m a math teacher and I’ve been using Scantastic for weeks. I love how simple it is to use. Today I made an answer key and simply took a picture of the key with my phone. This app will turn it into a pdf which I can upload to my Canvas classroom where my online students can access it. The old-fashioned hardware scanner is not needed. Our college had a few scanners but you had to walk several buildings over in the cold and the rain or whatever, bring your badge, sign in, plug in your usb stick, set up the scan do the scan and walk back. It was a whole production that took loads of time. This app takes me like two minutes max to do the whole thing and in never have to brave the elements. Now that it’s wfh, I don’t have to leave my couch/bed/desk. Thanks for that app.

This is really useful for school and making sure all of my documents are submitted as a PDF that my teachers can easily access and view. My only suggestion would be to add tags to sort and flag diles. Other than that, this is really cool!

Very intuitive controls and super easy to use. The camera doesn’t always take a complete image, but editing and recropping to perfectly reflect the actual document is simple to do and even shows you a close up of where the markers are positioned to ensure you make the right changes. This really is a great app for those of us who do a lot of work on their phones but don’t have access to a scanner. It goes hand in hand with other productivity apps like Drive and Docs.
