Good planner
Out of all the apps I’ve tried this is simple and easy to use and helps me not stay up to late. I like the idea of the app and the timer !
ADHD has never been this easy to manage
I have always struggled with routines. I forgot to do things, did things the wrong way, got distracted, or plan up just didn’t feel like it was worth while. Instead of having to decide to make your bed, brush your teeth, do laundry, put dishes away, make tea, workout, you make one decision: start your routine. If you use the auto advance function of the tasks, then one will spill into the next, leaving no room for excuses, distractions, or anything else that your brain could muster up to convince you to do anything else. It’s really a complete game changer. I have never felt this empowered and productive in my entire life. Thank you so much for making this app. It is worth every penny❤️
Not a lot of bells & whistles for the price
Unlike many who have complained, I actually did subscribe to the annual subscription, and I get that the goal here is simplicity. But, simple design does not mean less features / functionality. The huge disappointment for me is that you can’t turn off the text-to-speech when a task runs over! I listen to audiobooks during my morning routine and I guess I’m going to have to run this on my iPad in the bathroom while my phone plays my audio, because there is no way to keep it from interrupting. If I had realized this before subscribing, I would not have subscribed. But, there aren’t really any other apps like this. In the past, I used apps like Seconds and MyIntervals, which are for creating workouts. They have way more options within each routine, and I don’t care about summaries or tracking overall progress. I do not have ADHD, nor am I neurodivergent - I just like to be organized. I do have depression and productivity apps help motivate me and keep me focused, so I do rely on them. I turned off the chatbot, which was annoying, and I’m glad that option was available, but there need to be more ways to customize. And, I agree that that the lag times are perplexing. When scrolling, it often freezes and you have to wait for it to “think”. I turned off all the automatic switches from one task to the next (took forever to do because of lag), hoping it would stop talking, but with no luck. It literally announces that the last task has ended automatically, in full, and that the next task has started, in full. Then, it keep nagging every minute over or so, too, even if I pause the routine! I have all routines set to silent with no automatic tasks and I cannot believe the text-to-speech is still so disruptive. I don’t even want it to beep - I just want to check the task when I’m done. I guess I can go make all the tasks way longer so I always complete the task within the timeframe, but I kind of wanted something with close to accurate times to push me - that was the point. Then, I guess I can just stop the routine if I need to stop to do something else for a few minutes, but how inconvenient, and who knows if it’s going to work properly, like save my previous tasks. It seems like whoever made this had a particular goal or vision , which is good, but the code and technical design needs work. I will say that it’s pretty reliable if the app gets closed or exited or anything, about keeping the time going. Any edits to routines get synced well to iCloud, but it doesn’t always sync daily progress between devices.
Love it but Apple Watch version needs to be fixed
I actually LOVE this app. It’s immensely helpful but I use it exclusively on the Apple Watch so I don’t get distracted on my phone. However the watch continuously quits randomly in the middle of a routine. I’ve reached out a number of times but still remains broken. I love this app so much but really want the time to be accurate. When it quits suddenly I’m forced to skip through all the habits I’ve already completed making the times inaccurate. Overall I’d still recommend this app but really need this fixed to give it 5 stars. I’d be willing to pay more for a fully functional Apple Watch app.
Awesome app for positive habit-building
This app is truly a gift for ADHD folks and anyone working to build their routines and habits, I’m a big fan. Two things I’d love to see: - Battery is drained unreasonably fast when the timer is running. After a 2-hour routine my battery is down by 30–40%. Not sure if it’s caused by the Home Screen widget, but developers: please look into this! The default iOS timer doesn’t do this, and it’s the only dealbreaker for me. Please fix, I love this app otherwise! - The ability to turn off the voice announcements (it’s SO LOUD) everywhere from the user settings page, instead of having to edit each task individually, which is tedious.
Great features but needs improvements to be worth the money.
Pros: -screen stays on while app is open, with a countdown for each activity -notification sounds at 1 min before activity ends, and at end (you can change this, and decide whether to automatically or manually switch tasks) -voice that tells you to switch activities (helpful if you can’t be looking at the screen at all times) -ability to skip an activity for the day (during or before routine starts) Other routine apps have been missing these features, which are essential for this to be effective for me. However… cons: -app sends you banner notifications between activities even when app is open and not in the background -primary issue—you can only do a routine once per day, and you cannot adjust a routine you’re going to do tomorrow if you have already done it today. Especially in free version this is extremely frustrating as I need to change my routine depending on the day and how much time I have. -secondary issue—sound is a bit of a mess. You can adjust with phone volume, but the app volume will randomly shoot way up and start shouting at you, which in addition to scaring me can also be heard by the neighboring apt. -the voice sometimes calls out the wrong activity -no connection to a calendar/schedule as some other apps have, this is helpful Overall, I’d like more than just the 2 free routines, but can’t justify that price without some changes being made to these issues—ESPECIALLY since you have to pay that price on a recurring basis!
I love this app!
I have tried using many different routine apps, habit trackers, etc. and THIS app is the ONLY one that has worked. Having the timer helps add a sense of urgency which makes me more efficient in performing my routine. Long story short, THIS APP IS AMAZING!
