Not simple and beautiful

Rete is the best mind map and note app. The app is very beautiful. However, it is not simple. You can do so many things with it - shapes, colors, fonts, arrangement, etc. - that it couldn't possibly be simple. Fortunately, the creators provide good documentation. Another giant plus is that it is presented with an open source license and without ads.
