REDSTICK311 is a new way for Baton Rouge citizens – the customers of our City-Parish government – to request services and report issues while “on the go,” and to offer enhanced options that can provide us with as much information about your needs as possible. •Spot a pothole while on your way to work? Snap a quick photo with your smartphone and submit it with your request for service, which allows our crews to know exactly what they are facing when they arrive on the scene. •Notice junk or debris that should have been picked up, or a blighted area that needs to be addressed? Report the issue via REDSTICK311 and use the app’s GPS feature to locate of the area in question. •Want to be able to receive real-time updates on your phone about how we are responding to your request? Through the app, we’ll keep you in the loop on the status of your service ticket and what’s being done to resolve the issue. It’s all a part of how our City-Parish government is working to use technology and digital tools to better engage with and more efficiently serve the citizens of Baton Rouge. Great app
I’ve used this app for years to submit 311 requests and to check the status of requests I’ve submitted. Easy to use, and you can include pictures. Available 24 hours a day. When I’m not sure of category, I do the best I can.
Gets issues addressed promptly!
I have used the RedStick311 app to report missed garbage pick up, missed recycle, missed bulk trash, a street sign in my neighborhood that had been completely bleached out white and rendered the white lettering completely illegible, and street lamps in my neighborhood that were out. Every single issue has been addressed promptly! You get email confirmation when the issue is submitted, and updates when the issue is addressed and completed. I am very impressed with the effectiveness of the RedStick311 app. Thank you!!
April 2023, the app does work!
I submitted a request through the app and called 311 the next day because I wasn’t sure if this app was defunct. The operator informed me that they received my request through the app and that I should be updated as the request is addressed.
Worst thing
Don’t know why you bother making this app if you never respond to it. Essentially the most useless app ever
Can’t use without account
Requires account creation before being able to report issues. Stupid. Does calling 311 require an account?
No longer works
App used to be great but in recent months stopped working. Allows you to go through all steps of reporting issue but shuts down before you can complete request. I’ve tried reloading app, opening new account and nothing seems to work.
App doesn’t work.
Cannot enter complaints on app. App closes when you hit submit and doesn’t record your issue. Typical for EBR govt.
