Great App for Floor Plan Design
I am doing a build out and this is helping me so much. I am working with a pro for my project and he even said it looks like a good software, which is helping a lot with the project. Thanks QuickPlan love it!

trying to find something easy and fun to use to help me settle on layouts and what furniture to buy and this app is not very good or fun. Google Sketch up or other free apps or websites are way way better. don't waste your money.

Pros: 1) No subscription (thank goodness) if you want that they have other software that gives you that. 2) I love the messurements that auto show up and show you distance from things. So helpful to get a good gage on size and things. 3) Great to see the over all square feet of the house and rooms. 4) Companion app is nice for iPad (an additional $9.00). 5) You can export as a DXF format 6) 3D view is nice 7) Simple to use and drag and drop is nice. 8) You can double click to add exact dimentions of objects which is so helpful. Type them in as feet or inches with ' or " Cons: 1) There is no option dragging to duplicate objects you have already made. 2) When you have made an object size you cann't duplicate it. 3) No vehicles to put in the garage so you have to use a box or something similar. 4) Missing keyboard shortcuts for tools and things like command d to duplicate, command a to select all (you have to go to the toolbar to select everything. 5) No way that I can find to add a walk way to a garage. 6) Emailing them for templates that they say you can ask for on their site has taken days and still not reply, support is slow and poor. 7) I might be doing something wrong but after reading all the documentation and watching videos I don't see an easy way to make a second floor over part of the house.

This is a really good app for the cost. I was able to quickly put together a basic floor plan for my house renovation. Figure out sq. ft of floors and walls to get material estimates. I created a second copy of the floor plan with the intended changes. I could mock up kitchen layouts and wall locations. The help file could be improved. It took me a while to realise that the pages swiped left to right.

This by far the best blueprint and 3D drawing program that I have ever seen at such a low price. Granted it is not a professional program, but it also does not cost thousands of dollars. If it had a few more articles to all in on the 3D rendering, I would give it a 5 star. The bottom line, is that you can not go wrong with this. Fred

It's a solid tool, and I want to give it a higher rating, but it's missing some key features. Mainly, it needs a copy/paste option. Other than that, more design elements would be nice (for example furniture), as well as more variants of existing elements (different window and door types for example). I'd be happy to change the rating to five stars if they can do this.
