ios handoff is not working.
i also bought ios app for hondoff, but not working.
No Name or Sync
Eventhough I have handoff enabled not syncing. I was really hoping to have it sync through iCloud or dropbox like other apps. No way to name the pomodoro task either and track your pomodoros.
Works, but easy to miss transitions.
Pommie does everything I need and it looks great. BUT there's no audio ping to mark the next period, and I find I always blow right through each session. The Mac notifications are great, and definitely helpful. I wish there were an audio alert available to accompany each event.
Works lIke a charm
Does what it's supposed to (although I do wish there was an optional dropdown menu to change the time intervals)
Simple and Effective
This app is great just because it reliably does what it says, without any crazy frills. I have the iPhone/Apple Watch Version and the MacOS version. I like being able to see the time in the top bar. It is also nice to be able to edit the structure of the pomodoros. I made it so it is 4, 30 minute sections, so at the end of a set I know I worked 2 hours (which seems nicer to me). Overall, a good, functional app.
Really cool, if only it did a few more things
The implementatoin is really nice. I love the visual countdown (one of the only ones that had this), though I was sorry that there was not a “ding” sound to alert me. Also, it keeps seeming like it goes from one 25 minute block to another 25 minute block .. am I imagining this? I would have to wait 25 minutes to check again … but it seemed like that several times. But if those were fixed, then I would give it 5 stars. And I have not tried the handoff to iPhone feature yet, but it’s pretty brilliant.
Very Poor App
This is a very poor app unfortunately. I was expecting more functions. Is is very annoying how the timer just runs from one period into the next one. There is no option for timers to stop naturally. There is no option to see how many Pomodoros you’ve done in a day. There is no opiton for a “tick tack” sound. The only thing I like is the animated red icon in the menubar, but that is not worth $3. I wish I could get a refund...
• Shortcuts actions for controlling the timer, getting its status and selecting a Timer Profile. If you find Pommie useful, please rate or review it in the App Store, or recommend it to family, friends and colleagues. This makes a huge difference to me and the future of the app. Thanks in advance, Geoff.
