This OrCam MyEye 2 Companion App, connects to an OrCam MyEye 2 device via Bluetooth and enables access to certain features of the OrCam MyEye 2 device using an iPhone. Having the same issues
I am having the same issues as everybody above, as in not getting a confirmation number when I check my email, and now I am having the issue of registering my device again. It keeps on giving me an error message when I try registering again and decided to put in a new email. now I have a student that is going through a similar issue as well with the app. The app really needs to be updated if they want us to connect to the Wi-Fi through it.
App has little updates and little or few updates on the actual device. Is this company still around?
It says app is out of date however when I go to App Store it says open no update is available no response from app developers makes you question how many people actually purchase the device and use the device app

The new “Hey Orcam” voice commands are useless due the app not being accessible for pairing if your email has changed. I am now unable to activate this undated voice command feature
Liked the app until I changed my email address
I liked the app until I changed my email address. Before I changed my email address I was having connectivity issues with my OrCam device and the app. The app would ask for a confirmation code and I would go to check my email to get the code and my OrCam device would keep disconnecting. I recently changed my email address and I tried to connect my OrCam again because it got disconnected somehow. When it asked for a confirmation code I couldn't get the code because it was sent to my old email address that I don't use anymore. I tried reinstalling the app to see if it would work but it didn't and the confirmation code was sent to my old email address again. Now I can't use the app anymore. Suggestions?
OrCam connectivity issues
I like this app. But it's missing some things. Let's start out with the good things about the app. It's nice to be able to control my OrCam from my phone. I also like that you can make the OrCam make a sound if you misplace it. It's also nice that you can set up the WiFi as I couldn't get it to work through OrCam's website. Now let's talk about the things that I think are important to have in the app. I think that I should be able to connect a Bluetooth audio device using the app rather than going through the settings on the OrCam itself. I do like the option of being able to change the settings both ways though. I also have a huge problem with the app. It sees my OrCam device and connects to it. Then it asks for a confirmation code. I go to check my email and it's there but almost immediately after I open the email with the confirmation code my OrCam says that it was disconnected from the mobile app. Then I enter the confirmation code thinking that it's going to work. It doesn't work though and I get an error message telling me to make sure my OrCam is on and close to my phone. My OrCam is on and I know it is because I tried touching the touch bar to make sure it wasn't suspended. After touching the touch bar to make sure it wasn't suspended I tried connecting he OrCam again. I still get the same error message to make sure my OrCam was on and close to my phone. The Orcam was literally right next to my phone. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Suggestions?

Several missing critical features
Firstly, the app fails to automatically connect to my OrCam even when the phone is right next to the OrCam for long periods of time, and there’s no “refresh” button in the app to make it try and search again. Secondly, my Bluetooth headset drops connection to the OrCam constantly. I don’t yet know if this is an error with my headset or the OrCam... but if Bluetooth Settings was a actually a menu item in the app then I could reconnect quickly, instead of the 22-step process required to refresh the BT connection directly from the eyepiece. Add Bluetooth Settings to the App, please!
