bruh- at least give a refund. its literally the same project, which Ive bought on my other devices as well mind you, under a new app. to be frank, I feel scammed. Ive paid for somthing that wont even work now.

Used Notablility for business notes on iPad Air and now want to transfer to iPad 2020. App store on iPad said I needed to buy again, so deleted from old iPad (actually blanked completely to hand down to family member) and still not available without re-buying. Contacted support via email. Program worked pretty well, but haven't been able to use for 6 months

I just purchased the app and they stopped support for the mac version and replaced it with iphone version and make it a new purchase. Unbelievable. Dont even bother buying the app. At somepoint they might do it again. They are disgusting frauds.

After the most recent update there's a communication issue between Notability on Macbook and on the other devices. They just work independently, and whatever I edit on one device does not update on another. Tried to uninstall and reinstall, but nothing works. Did not have this problem on the previous version.

The update runs notability like it was on an ipad or iphone, which was great for those devices, but terrible for the computer. The update runs extremely slow, my handwriting looks terrible. Changing pen color or thickness is a massive pain. It used to be so easy when it was a side bar on the right side of the sreen - now you have to scroll through color screens to change the color you are using. If you want to change the color of soemthing you have previously written, you have to use your keyboard, its a disaster. This was my favorite app as a teacher - it has now lost ALL of its user friendliness. Please Please Please make the old option viable for the computer.

Update: The iOS notability app is now the new version for mac, and this app just *poofed* away... No good communication on the fact that this app was going away, or that we need to download the new app. (It's pretty obvious, expecially since I use the iPad app. There's just nothing directly telling us, which can be confusing) When it works, it eats your battery, and apparently decides to be processor intensive enough that my macbook pro heats up fast. I bought this app hoping I could sync my school notes across devices, and i have ended up just looking at iPad Notability's backup pdfs. You cannot open multiple windows, which for a mac app I would expect, and recently whever I opened the app it flat-out wouldn't open a window, just appear in the menu bar. I love notability on the iPad. But Notability on mac? They might as well just develop a new app for it, cause this one only makes your life more inconvienent.
