Poor Website
The website requires tremendous amount of improvement. In the present state, as an Owner I am unable to understand and correctly use the website to get information or to seek a service or assistance. It apparently does not have a “Help” section to guide any one how to use the website. I am also unable to understand the following:- 1. why there are two websites “My Lodha” and “BelleVie” . 2. How do an owner raise a complaint. I am unable to find this feature in the downloaded MyLodha App in my phone 3. I received a few Notification stating “My Guests”. I do not live in my flat and I have not requested for an approval or sought permission to allow anyone. Most of the. them are shown as for “Delivery “ but apparently never left and some of them were shown stayed on for very prolonged period of time. All of them have been allowed into the Complex by the security (Neelam Rewale, MD Rehan Ali) In both cases the delivery person stayed on for very long time. App is illicitly accessing phone data. Users/ Residents be warned: Lodha Group and its IT contractors have access to your data without your permission. All phone contacts are uploaded to their servers after installing the app, without user consent [ if users have already installed the app, you can confirm yourself under Add Lease column ] It shouldn’t be long before Apple kicks them out the App Store.
Alert: Unauthorized accessing of phone contacts!
I didn’t think this was possible but the “My Lodha” App is able to access my phone contacts even when no permission has been given to address book. This is demonstrated under the “Add Lease” section of the App, wherein users can select a contact from the phone address book to add. My entire directory is loading up in this section, even when no permission has been granted to access my contacts. I deleted and reinstalled, with the same result. The Apple permissions section under settings doesn’t show the app as authorized to access contacts either but behold! Apple please ACT! I wonder what else is the app able to access without permission? Location? Photos? I use the Apple Platform, instead of Android, precisely to avoid such malicious coding infiltrating the App Store.
