Awesome!
This app is awesome. It performs exactly as advertised. It is now a required part of my workflow. Hopefully they will have a Ventura update out soon because I'm not upgrading until it is ready.
Almost there...
Needs ability to assign keyboard shortcuts and when in the app, the ability to ⌘-F to place cursor in the search field.
Works as advertised!
Running well on Mac OS Monterey (12.3.1). I've gone full circle with different email apps. Finally got back around to Apple Mail, but was really frustrated that I couldn't navigate my folder structures with the keyboard. I wasn't willing to pay for the subscription services, and I didn't need the added functionality that the other competitors provide. MsgFiler fits the bill. I can move messages and go to specific mailboxes with a few keystrokes. Perfect!
Works well with macOS Monterey
MsgFiler does what it is supposed to do - moving emails into folders. It's not very elegant and has to be set up and configured in a fairly roundabout way, but it now works very well for me.
DO NOT BUY! DOESN'T WORK!
Doesn't work for Mac OS Monterey. Wasted $10 on this outdated app.
Completes my move from Outlook
When I switched back to Mail from Outlook, the one feature I missed from Outlook was the ability to file messages in folders without taking my hands off the keyboard. MsgFiler lets me have that same functionality, which is well worth the $10.
Not updated on app store
I love MsgFiler, BUT: I purchased it through the app store in 2012. Since Mojave, the app store version isn't supported and you have to use the "beta" version of the plugin downloadable on their web site. The latest (2.5) is compatible with Big Sur, including with the engine. But it keeps nagging me for a license key. The names (beta vs. app store) is just crazy, and I find it difficult to justify being a second license for a product that is officially a beta. But it is so ingrained in my mail workflow, I couldn't function without it.
