FocusLite blocks access to a list of websites permanently. If you want to get access, you have to "start a break" through the app. Groups & websites: Add your time-wasting websites into groups, such as "News" or "Social networking". Then you can start a break for each group individually. This is to prevent you from going to other websites than you were intending to. Rules: Define rules for how much time you can spend on a website per day. You can also define number of visits per day, to prevent checking websites on compulsion. Streaks: When you're ready, you can start a streak. Streak is an uninterrupted string of days when you followed your rules. Once you start a streak, you won't be able to remove blocked websites or change the rules! can't bock gmail
Blocking Google services should be supported. And the app also stuggles to update it's timers based on the date.

loaded for safari, but it Doesn't seem to work at all. No uninstall button. waste of time.
Good, but not obvious how to disable
The general concept and design of the app is good, but I had some trouble turning off the network filter. Once activated, the filter stays on even after uninstalling the app, and the only way to disable it is to add a website to block, and then you can turn it off from the status area. I simply wanted to look at the app and see if I wanted to keep it, and not being able to disable it without fully activating made me a little nervous. However, now that I have figured out that the app is happy to deactivate itself, I have no further worries about privacy.
