Good password manager
A great password manager they are discontinuing it though but you can install firefox as a replacement in future but it works for now
RIP Lockwise, moving to BitWarden
As if we needed anymore reason to move to BitWarden or 1Password, Lockwise is now getting “re-absorbed” in Firefox. It’s a shamed I would have to use Firefox just to access my passwords. It forces people using Lockwise + Safari to use Firefox. In my opinion, since Firefox on iOS can’t use extensions, it makes the app useless. Firefox on Android has had extensions for a while, and even Safari has extensions now. On my Mac and PC, I use Firefox over Safari and Edge. But on my phone, Firefox for iOS is so disappointing that I have to use Safari. That being said, Lockwise was nice and useful, but BitWarden, looks like you’re gaining another user.
Garbage App Continuously Signs Out
Over the past month this app continuously signs me out making the function as a password manager useless. Avoid this app if you think it will be useful. Mozilla is headed to the cliff.
They’re killing Lockwise!
And now I have to install stupid Firefox on my phone.
Slow
It works very slow please fix it.
Lockwise is going away
Check out the Lockwise FAQ, which made this announcement today (11/23/21): “Effective December 13, 2021, Mozilla will be ending its support for the Firefox Lockwise app on Android and iOS.” Too bad. It was a clean, simple (if not very full-featured) app you could use to drop saved passwords into applications systemwide. It did what it did well. It wasn’t Bitwarden or 1Password but it had its fans. Apparently, some of its tech may be rolled into Firefox in the future, fwiw. The Incredible Shrinking Mozilla continues to give sign after sign of an impending demise. Even if that’s not the case, Mozilla is working hard to make it *seem* like it is. Is a browser ecosystem consisting entirely of Chromium underpinnings inevitable now? Sigh.
Please don’t don’t take Lockwise away
Sure old Firefox passwords are good, but Lockwise provided great full function cross platform support for my iPhone, iPad and PC. Firefox on the iPad/iPhone still isolates 2 spheres rather than integrating them. Exit your app, start Firefox, look up a pw, copy it, close Firefox, open the first app, paste the pw is not user friendly.
Thank you for updating to the latest version of Firefox Lockwise! This version includes bug fixes and stability improvements.
