Totally Useless on Mojave.
Tried on File Manager Pro working properly on two different Macbooks running Mojave. Won't perform any operations, regardless of the total permissions granted. You'd think after all the versions of OSX 10.1 through 10.14, Apple would build a version of Finder that allows copy, paste and move commands. Will have to bit the bullet and fight to get Xtrafinder working!
So How Does This App Work?
I got this app on Apple’s App website hoping for a more robust “Finder”. After launching File Manager Pro and realizing I had not a clue how the app works, I looked for a manual or instructions - anywhere? Nothing. Their website “support” section simply is an app to submit an email. File Manager might be a good app but there is absoutey is NO Tech support. How do I get my money back?
Not useful
I bought this program to compare directories. I could not get it to compare multilevel directories. There was no help information or directions of any kind.
Compliments to the developer
I would like to compliment the developer. This is a brand new app and he has been putting out regular updates and improvements and that is a good thing. This gives me confidence that this app has a future.
Just what I want in a file manager
I don’t dislike Finder — I think Apple did a good enough job on it. And yet, I love File Manager Pro because it focuses on exactly the stuff that I commonly do: compare/sync two directories, copy a file path, open a specific directory in Terminal, etc.
