GS Pro (also known as Ground Station Pro) is an iPad app designed to control or plan automatic flights for DJI aircraft. Through its clear, concise interface, complex flight missions can be planned with a few taps. Hi Why the software does not work well and lost the ability to take photos and videos automatically
Older drone issues
I used to use this all the time for mapping with my Mavic 2 Pro, but recently, it only captures every other photo unless I set the minimum capture interval to 5 seconds. It’s already is set to jpg images, but it still fails to capture the required photos. Sure, I can make it work by setting a 5 sec capture interval, but that is 2.5x the flight time, which is not reasonable. In GO4, I can set the timed capture to 2sec and capture manually flying without issue, so it’s entirely an issue with this app. Extremely disappointing as a I also use this as an enterprise user for work.
Upgrade was a bust.
This app will not work despite the DJI GO app for my Phantom 3 Advanced working perfectly. Sent UAV and controller back three times and tech could use this app. No explanation forthcoming. Dead in water since June 2021.
App did not link to Phantom 4 Pro
Worked like a charm before the upgrade. Now app does not communicate with the the UAV. Not a controller issue because there is communication with DJI GO4.
Mavic Air 2S
Seriously this app needs to add support for Air 2S. How come all 3rd party software support em and not the actual manufacturer?

Of all the survey / mapping apps, this one is easy to use, and it gets the job fast! The only issue I have; I use it with my Phantom 4 Pro, using an iPad. I recently bought a Mavic 2 Pro, but I cannot use my iPad with the Mavic controller, due to it’s size, and the DJI Go app does not turn in the vertical position making it useless to use. So, I use my Android phone, with the Mavic; BUT, the Ground Station Pro app only works with an iPad or iPhone. DJI, HELP! Please make a GSP version that work with Android.
Disappointed, virtual fence max altitude limit
Try use GS Pro virtual fence for a 800 ft. transmission tower inspection and found app have a built in limit of 150 m ( 492.1 ft) Very disappointed.
