Limit of 30 tools unless you pay upwards of $1k for upgrade
Severely disappointed with the limit of 30 tools. Salesman tried to sell me on very expensive plan for management of more than 30 tools

Need more than 30 tools input. All my tools using the tool connectors are register as tool connect and on top I have the tool, so just there I already hit more than 26 (connector and tool) entries and unable to add all my batteries I have. I emailed to upgrade and took a while to get a reply and now waiting on the call to upgrade, which has been a while too. Can you please just add more on the Tier 0 since adding a tool with a connector attached is taking two entries.

I bought several tool connect products for our construction company in hopes of creating an inventory and loss prevention system. One of the standout features for me vs Milwaukee was the “disable if out of range function”. Guess what? It doesn’t work. 9/10 times it just keeps working regardless. And the 1 time the drill does stop working it NEVER turns back on. I have to unpair the drill and pair it again. Now we get to the really bad part. I contacted dewalt customer service and they replied with completely irrelevant information. I told them to please contact the developer or I’ll have to do it through this review. They said they did, but I never got a reply. This happened 3 times. THEN I looked at the reviews earlier this week and saw there was an email account to contact. I emailed them. Guess what? No reply. No update. This is the last chance I’m giving it. I’m giving an honest negative review of this tool in hopes that someone can fix the system so it works as advertised. Tldr: doesn’t work as advertised. More annoying than using a tool on its own. Untrained customer service. No response from development team. Over the course of weeks. With at least 5 attempts to reach out.
