Dashlane for Safari works very well. However, loss of the desktop app is a critical loss, as many sites do not allow autofill on Safari. The effort to find and use a password contained in Dashlane becomes a tedious multi-step process.

Used to be great, with an offline desktop app... you could also secure your account allowing nothing other than a hardware key (yubikey) for 2 FA, having a few hardware keys registered incase of backup/lockout. Now, You can get past with an authenticator app (vulernability). Very insecure and sad to buya. year membership for this feature in particular just to have it dropped and removed.

The basic package doesn't seem to work any better than the password manager built into Safari.

Inconvenient and constantly having to login is no way to make an app better. It's still slow to fill in fields and wrong half the time. I wish I never got into dashlane

Easy to use!
United StatesGood, but cannot depend on it for autofill
I like Dashlane, but I've some proiblems that make me not trust it completely to autofill forms, logins, financial information and other data. That is why I cannot use those autogenerated passwords if I cannot rely on the application to open webpages, fill in forms, etc. I'm a frustrated user.

It works across computer. But it's very Clunky and is often user unfriendly. About a third of the time, it takes multiple steps to log onto a website. It often things a website it just logged onto is new and created a duplicate login--which can only be deleted by logging onto the Dashlane website. It's usable but clunky!
