Daily To-do List is ranked top #10 in productivity apps on the App Store. It is used by thousands of people to organize their daily tasks to get things done. Your go-to to-do list apps have become complicated with features that overwhelm you. Reminders, calendars, timers, lists for this, list for that. It's no wonder why things don't ever get finished. We built Daily To-do List and removed all the noise. One list to focus on today's task. Check off your tasks when complete, then view your accomplishments at the end of the day. That's it. When you don't finish your tasks, Daily To-do List asks you which uncompleted tasks you want to add to the next day. This helps you really prioritize your tasks that need to get done making you rethink tasks that were added the day before. If it's important, add it back to the list. If not, the app will remove it for you. Great features that make you stay productive all day long Today's List Shows you all your task for today. Swipe left or right for more functions. Calendar Create events for meetings and appointments. These tasks will show at the top of your list for that day. Integrate with google calendar for Gmail users. Pomodoro Timer Focus on tasks using the Pomodoro technique. Press and Hold on any task until the timer icon appears. Pressing the icon will take you into the Pomodoro timer. History Remember what you did days/weeks ago. It keeps track of all completed tasks by date. Highlight Mark high priority tasks to move things to the top of the list. Backlog Save low priority tasks here. Swipe to add them to today's list or schedule them and they will show up on the day you set. Routines Stop typing the same thing every day. Use the routine feature to automatically add repeatable tasks to today's list easily. Shopping Use the subtask feature to create your very own shopping list with pricing. Saving Save all your tasks and history in the cloud. Access where you left on another iOS device. New Day The app refreshes at midnight every single day giving you a fresh start in the morning. Or change this setting and start your day earlier. Alerts Create alerts to remind you that you have a list of tasks that need to be finished. Themes Great new minimal themes to help you have a little bit of style while conquering your day. Questions? Feedback? Support? E-mail us at [email protected]
Exactly what I’ve wanted.
Simple and yet so unique. The routines feature is something other productivity apps miss the mark on. Saves me hours of typing out the same tasks I complete every day. PLEASE add a widget and Apple Watch compatibility to check in at a glance.
Sub tasks makes a great grocery list
PROS: I love that I can check off groceries items as I put them in my cart. I put the store name as the task and each item as a sub task. This is just what I was looking for! CONS: when there are many items not finished the day before, only the first 5 or 6 are shown to bring forward. Then a lot of dead space. I have found that I can scroll and the rest of the items are there but the front page is so misleading that I have lost a lot of data by not scrolling. If that can’t be resolved then it would be nice to have an option to reinstate those items. All in all, I really do love this app!
Nice app! Clutter-free design.
A very clean design that includes a completed task “history” list. It’s nice to be able to look back and see when I completed certain tasks. Gripe: You can tap a task to highlight it and it automatically moves to the top of the list. Seems nice at first, but I find it very awkward/inefficient to use because if I want to re-organize my list, I have to keep tapping and unhighlighting. And I really have to think about the tapping order because the last one tapped will go to the top of the list. I prefer the tap, hold and drag method of moving tasks, since that is the method my other apps use, and imho it’s easier to use when re-ordering the list. Bug: Notification badge is not working for me, so I have to open the app to see how many tasks I have for the day. Suggestion: add a search feature to the history list.
Starting to fall behind a bit.
I’ve been using this app since February of 2020, and they’ve slowly been using it and adding new features. However, it’s now February 2021, and there are some I and others have requested that just haven’t seemed to stick over the year: - Separate themes for light mode and dark mode. - More themes in general. - Native iOS calendar integration. - Siri/Shortcuts integration. - Hopefully iOS 14 Widgets are coming, as well.
DON’T BUY...no instructions on how to use options
I can creat a single list for today...that’s it. There are no instructions to create a task for every Friday or for every day. There are no instructions to set a task on a calendar day
peace of mind
just opening this app makes me feel calmer and more organized. it’s so simple and there’s a tutorial to show you exactly how to use it so you can jump right in. a to do app should make life easier and this does just that without the hurdles of having to learn a new way to use it. my only recommendation would be for some type of automation with recurring tasks or scheduling tasks for future dates. i understand that the whole idea is this is a daily to do list so this may be outside the scope of the project.
Good App But Bugs
I've enjoyed using this app for over a year! The only issue I've had is the Pricing feature. It never shows the pricing directly on the List nor does it calculate the total, making the feature useless.
